Gender Policy

Gender perspective has been incorporated in all the programmes, projects and policies. Systems have been established to ensure mainstreaming of women’s perspectives in the development process, as catalysts, participants and recipients. Women’s equality in power sharing and active participation in decision making is ensured for effecting empowerment. In order to enhance women’s access to credit for consumption and production measures have been taken to ensure flow of credit through banks. A holistic approach to women’s health has been adopted in our programe on alternative health care. Within the organization, a gender policy has been adopted to attend the needs of women staffs.
